Key Responsibilities/Essential Functions
- Checks menu for all items needed and ensures all foods listed on menu are available
- Ensures food and food areas are merchandised attractively, garnished and sanitized properly
- Ensures quality control of foods being served, to include taking and recording temperatures and removing foods from the line that are not in compliance with standards
- Utilizes good customer service skills, serving guests and employees courteously and effectively, explaining menu or food items when requested and giving correct portion sizes
- Exhibits proper sanitation skills, handling food properly and washing hands as instructed
