Key Responsibilities / Essential Functions
- Serves guests and employees courteously, totaling sales and providing correct change
- Exhibits good customer service skills
- Provides security of hospital monies by keeping cash register locked and keys removed when not in view of the cash register
- Ensures good working inventory of “bank” by counting “bank” at beginning of shift and planning to ensure there are plenty of coins and one dollar bills
- Stocks condiment containers before service begins and ensures adequate supply is maintained throughout service
- Reconciles receipts with cash and/or meal tickets and passes, maintaining a shortage/over of no more than $2.50
