BC/BE Non-Interventional Cardiologist

The Heart Center is seeking BC/BE Non-Interventional Cardiologists to join our current group due to a growing need in the community. The practice was founded in 1979, which established the first cardiology program in Huntsville and has since grown into a lucrative practice with 30 Cardiologists. The main office is located in Huntsville with satellites in several of the surrounding communities. We are the dominant cardiology group in North Alabama, owning more than 90 percent of the market with an excellent payor mix. The Heart Center is located in a medical professional building adjacent to Huntsville Hospital. There is a private parking garage, and the building is attached to the hospital by a tram. This is a well established practice with 30 full-time cardiologists and a support staff of more than 200. All of our physicians are Board Certified and we are nationally recognized as a leader in Cardiac CT, having previously led a fellowship program in CT Angiography designed to provide physicians with ACC Level 2 knowledge of Cardiac CT Interpretation. The facility includes over 90,000 square feet with an on-site Siemens SOMAOM Sensation 64 slice CT Scanner utilizing Wizard, Leonardo and TeraRecon workstations, Cardiac PET Scanner and an invasive catheterization lab with Phillips Integris technology and peripheral vascular lab. The practice has on-site billing, labs and 1 EECP room. New physicians can enjoy several amenities including an excellent starting salary, comprehensive benefits package and a partnership track.

In addition, the group is employed by Huntsville Hospital, one of the largest non-profit health care systems in the nation (with 881 beds), serving all of North Alabama and Southern Tennessee. This provides the group access to a large base of patients supported by a referral base of 170+ primary care physicians.
