The Huntsville Hospital Foundation is in the midst of an exciting capital campaign called Operation Excellence. Our goal is to raise $1.65 million by December 2008.
Every day, the doctors, nurses and staff of Huntsville Hospital use their knowledge and skills to help save lives. They also need lifesaving equipment to make that happen. And in today’s ever-changing world of rising costs, it’s a formidable task to make sure that equipment is available.
Where will this money go? We have identified five pieces of key equipment we would like to purchase through this campaign. This is cutting-edge, lifesaving equipment that will improve the lives of people across the Tennessee Valley.
“I truly believe that Huntsville Hospital is our community's crown jewel, and that it is, therefore, also worthy of our financial support,” said Frank Caprio, chairman of Operation Excellence and a member of the Huntsville Hospital Foundation Board of Trustees. “Through Operation Excellence, we have an opportunity to provide for the acquisition of new, important, state-of-the-art technology.”
For 112 years, Huntsville Hospital has taken care of patients across north Alabama and south central Tennessee. No one is turned away because of their inability to pay. It is truly this community’s hospital.
“As a non-profit hospital, whose doors are open to all, its vast resources, its well-educated and highly-trained physicians, nurses, and other medical professionals, and all of its life-saving technology, are available to each of us in our community, when our need arises,” Caprio said. “Every hour of every day, our hospital is caring for our friends and families, our children, our mothers and fathers.”
Will you help us as we endeavor to raise these critical funds?
You never know when your own family member may need it.
