Huntsville MedFlight, operated by Air Methods Corporation, flies critically ill or injured patients to the closest appropriate health care facility. Since beginning in 1985, MedFlight has strived to maintain certain goals, dependability, speed, and quality patient care 24 hours a day 7 days a week. MedFlight has flown over 10,000 patients. In 2005, MedFlight celebrated their 20th year of service, and received full CAMTS accreditation.
