Restrooms, Waiting Rooms, ATM
Restrooms and vending machines are also located in or near visitor waiting rooms. For the convenience of our visitors, there are Automated Teller Machines located in the lobby areas of both hospitals.
Cell phones and 2-Way Radios
Due to the possibility of electronic interference of medical equipment, the use of cell phones is restricted to certain areas. The areas designated for cell phone use are public areas, lobbies, waiting Areas, cafeteria, and first floor lobby level and hallways. Patient care areas are still restricted.

Gift Shop
Flowers, candy and a variety of gifts are available for purchase in the Hospital Gift Shops are staffed by the Hospital Auxiliary Volunteers. Gift Shop hours:

Remember to Bring
Bring Insurance Card(s), Driver's License, a list of all current medications, personal toiletries and night clothes for overnight stays.
Valuables
Do not bring valuables, jewelry or excessive cash with you. If absolutely necessary, valuables may be deposited for safe keeping in the Business Office. The Hospital is not responsible for any personal property kept in your room, including eyeglasses, dentures and clothing.
Smoking
By city ordinance and for the safety and comfort of our patients, visitors and staff, smoking is strictly prohibited in Huntsville Hospital facilities and near the entrances. Approved exterior smoking areas are provided at each facility.
Your Room
Environmental Services will clean your room daily. Problems related to the comfort of your room including temperature, electronic controls and general repairs will be handled by our Plant Operations Staff. Personal grooming appliances such as blow dryers, curling irons and shavers may be used in your room. However, all other privately owned appliances are considered fire hazards and are not permitted within Huntsville Hospital.
Pastoral Care and Chapel Services
Pastoral care and counseling is provided by chaplains who are available to assist patients and their families at any hour.
An interfaith chapel is provided for prayer and meditation and may be used by you, your personal minister or your family and friends. It is open at all times and is located on the first floor at Huntsville Hospital and the fourth floor at Huntsville for Women & Children.

Our Staff
During your stay, you will come in contact with physicians, nurses and other members of our clinical team such as dietitians, physical therapists and lab technologists. Each staff member should be identified with a hospital badge.
