Public phones are located off the main lobby of the Hospital and near the main elevators and waiting rooms.

Making Local Outside Calls from the Hospital:

Dial "9" and then the number.

Making Long Distance Calls:

Dial 9 + 0 + area code + the number. The operator will ask you how you would like the call billed.

Calling Hospital Extensions from within the Hospital (with the prefix 265):

Dial 5 + the last four digits of the number.

Calling a patient directly at Huntsville Hospital MAIN:

Dial 265-8 and then the room number.

Calling a patient directly at Huntsville Hospital for Women & Children:

Dial 265-7 and then the room number between 8 am and 10 pm.

Use of cellular phones is permitted in some non-clinical areas. Please observe signage regarding cell phone usage.

They interfere with critical patient monitoring equipment.
