The Breast Center at Huntsville Hospital
The Breast Center currently offers screening and diagnostic procedures as well as breast health education opportunities through individual teaching, group presentations and resource literature. Our goal is to meet each woman's breast health needs in a caring and professional manner. In order to attain that goal, we have a dedicated Breast Radiologist and Radiology Technologists certified in mammography. In addition, we have dedicated Breast Ultrasound Technologists who can provide further breast imaging as required. Our Breast Health Nurse Specialists are available for consultation for any questions you may have concerning your own breast health. Because of our highly trained and experienced staff as well as our state-of-the-art equipment, we feel that we can offer you the highest caliber service in the region to meet your breast health needs. In April 2006, our Breast Center became the first facility in north Alabama to offer digital mammography. This new technology offers our patients mammograms that are faster and easier than before. Digital mammography also gives our physicians more accurate images to use in diagnosis.
